Parking Woes

Living in downtown Boston has one major drawback, parking. I went shopping south of the city this morning and got back at about 1:45. Between the people moving in, the ongoing sewer construction and Tuesday street cleaning, I drove around for an hour before I found a space. I guess it could be worse. I came home one Saturday night a couple of summers ago and drove around for a little more than two hours. I drove about twenty-six miles and had to go over the bridge to Charlestown to get gas before I ran out. It could be even worse still, I could be living in the suburbs and complaining that I have to drive four miles to buy a quart of milk. To each his own, now that my car is safely parked until next week, life is good
